Anyone buying this AltaX ThinkNote AI Voice Recorder must possess a keen knowledge of modern technologies because I suspect a lot of people will find this rather complicated to understand and use. I think it tries to do too much.There is no definition of terms. What is a "mind map," "air conduction sensor," "compressor algorithm," and "OLED screen"? Why does someone need "17 smart summary templates"? It would helpful if there was a video posted with this product showing a live person actually using all these features!I was simply looking for a recorder to capture both sides of a conversation on the phone (permitted in my state which only requires one party permission). But there is also an application called AltaScribe that can transcribe the conversation into text and even produce a summary. It works with varying reliability. It is said to be compatible with 107 languages, which is impressive but I would guess is usually not needed by most users.There is always an issue it seems with capturing both sides of a conversation with a loud enough volume. The disparity between two voices can be a bit annoying. This doesn't seem to have a feature that will automatically boost low volume so that is one drawback.This is a solidly built device that arrives nicely packaged and could be presented as a gift. The case is said to be made of an aerospace-grade alloy. (Whatever that is). Aside from being attractive, is there some benefit to it being made of this type of alloy? If so, it's not explained. It's slim, quite small and very light weight.I don't mean to detract from this item but I feel it is so "cutting edge" they should have some sympathy for those of us who don't know all the latest techno terms and techniques, and make use of this recorder easier to understand.
