| Why we started?

We didn’t start altaX in a boardroom. It began with frustration.

While building and testing products ourselves, we kept encountering the same pattern: the market was either flooded with cheap, low-quality gadgets on one end, and on the other, “premium” products priced at exorbitant margins (40–60%), where customers were essentially paying for the brand tag, not the technology. The underlying technology in such products always had a 2-3x markup, which doesn't seem fair.

So, we started altaX to bridge that gap and challenge the idea that cutting-edge technology has to come with inflated pricing. We believed there had to be a way to build products that felt premium, performed exceptionally, and were priced honestly.
